Oh hi! It’s been awhile since I posted something personal so here you go, my experiencie marching yesterday
In latin america, november 25th is the “Día Internacional de laeeliminación de la Violencia Contra la Mujer” (sorry i don’t know how translate that) and it’s have been my second year marching but this year I was more into it, it was 35° C (98.6 F) and I didn’t know anybody except for my sister and for some reason my parents supported me this time, last year they were so angry cause they tought that I was marching for free abortion and we are christians. Let me get this straight.
In Paraguay, 1 of 4 girls are abused. Some of them get pregnant and we are no talking about 15 o 16 years old girls, we are talking about 8 years old girls who are forced to carry a baby cause the state and has declared themselfs “pro familia” or “pro family”. #NiñasNoMadres were one of the movements, can you imagine missing all your childhood for carry a baby that you can’t even take care of? being mother when you have to be in school with your friends? It’s horrible, every single day you see a new case in the news and the rapist always get his way.
They are forced to be quite and “accept the challenge or the blessing” that the Lord gave them, in this country even the mother protect the rapist who usually are the father, the stepfather, the brother or some uncle. It’s so normal in here that you always know a case personally.
In three years i’ll graduate as a psychologist and I can picture how I will react if one of my patient tell me that shes been raped.
Also, 3 of 5 women are victims of feminicidio and the justice doesn’t give a single fuck about usI want to complain more but my english sucks and it seems that the words are not rough as I want but the point its that finally we are rising.
We were so many and I got shivers when we were singing for all those who didn’t came back home, so the paraguayans are HARTAS DE LIDIAR CON ESTA PORQUERIA Y YA NO NOS VAMOS A CALLAR MÁS
Men like. Want to be attractive and intriguing and like the men in movies except they don’t have women to write personalities for them in real life
